Guatemalan Tostadas
These savory tostadas are a traditional Guatemalan food, typically served as a snack or an appetizer. Our version is made quick and easy to prepare by using store-bought components.

Guatemalan Tostadas
Ingredients
12 toasted store-bought tortillas
1 can mexican red sauce (we like El Pato brand)
1 16-ounce can refried beans
4 ounces Cotja or other Mexican crumbling cheese
Store-bought guacamole
1 medium white onion, thinly sliced
Directions
In a small sauce pan, heat the refried beans with about a tablespoon of water until just warmed.

Layer red sauce, beans, guacamole, cheese and onion evenly on all tortillas. Serve and enjoy!
